INSD would like to state that it has no responsibility for the video published by Journalists for Democracy in Sri Lanka (JDS), now known as channel 4 video. INSD only offered its address to be used by JDS temporary. Now on INSD mailing address will not be used by JDS. INSD and JDS are separate organizations. INSD will continue to work for peace and democracy in Sri Lanka . In the past INSD have worked with Sri Lankan civil society and political society in furthering peace, human rights and democracy in Sri Lanka and will continue to do so in the future.
INSD would like to reiterate that it disassociate it self form the “Channel 4 Video” and hope that this statement will clear any misunderstandings created by JDS using INSD mailing address in releasing the video.
